Community Choice Behavioral Health provides Outpatient Therapy and Community Integration Case Management services, with an emphasis on the use of Trauma-Informed care practices, located in Saco, Maine. We are currently looking for a clinician to add to our growing Outpatient Therapy program.  Please join us in our aim to provide the best in care to each of our clients.

Our teams provide individualized, creative, and flexible services, infused with evidence-based and evidence-informed strategies. Services offered primarily through telehealth, with some in-person meetings within the community as needed, adhering to CDC guidelines.

The right candidate will have the skills and ability to provide exceptional clinical care with diverse populations to include the multicultural needs of the local community. We are committed to advancing equity and providing culturally appropriate care. This is a fee for service position with flexible hours. Experience working with populations with co-occurring disorders/serious mental illness/behavioral challenges is required. Comfort and experience working with adults, children, adolescents, and families preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with a Trauma Informed Recovery focused philosophy.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to crisis situations.
  • Good organizational and computer skills; previous experience with electronic medical records preferred.
  • Effective time management skills and ability multitask
  • Ability to work with individuals who have experienced trauma in their lives and have not yet learned how to communicate in healthy ways, or do not have the capacity to communicate in healthy ways due to a severe mental illness.
  • Maintain current Maine Driver’s License and vehicle insurance as required by state law.
  • Support the organization’s mission along with a workplace culture of diversity equity and inclusion.
  • Management of work processes in a timely manner, along with strong computer skills for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information within HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Ability to be flexible especially with scheduling and site locations and to perform and prioritize multiple functions and tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a criminal history check

Education:

Any of the following mental health counseling licensures including: LCSW, LCPC, LMSW-CC, LCPC-CC.

A willingness to learn and apply the ideals of motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care principles.

Job Type: Full-time/Fee for Service

Pay:

  • Offering a per-diem, or fee-for-service, structure.
