Outpatient Therapy

CCBH offers Outpatient therapy for individuals to support healing, improve functioning, and lead fulfilling lives. Our licensed therapists use evidence-based practice and trauma- informed care to provide clinical assessment, counseling, and necessary therapeutic services to adults and adolescents living in Maine.

Outpatient therapy services help clients deal with stress, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance abuse disorders, OCD, behavioral and social impulse disorders, bi-polar disorders, among other mental disorders.

Our licensed professional clinicians offer individualized treatment modalities to address these issues and others which may be creating barriers to clients living a life they envision for themselves.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a highly effective, evidence-based treatment designed to help individuals manage impulsive behaviors, intense emotions, and self-destructive urges.

Research has shown that DBT is highly effective for a variety of concerns, including suicidal ideation, self-harm, depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, substance use, risky sexual behavior, and aggression.

DBT helps individuals better manage their emotions, cope with stress, and improve relationships, moving towards creating a Life Worth Living.

According to the founder, psychologist Marsha Linehan, solving daily issues and building new skills requires more than a typical 60-minute talk therapy session.

Our expert, qualified clinicians teach lifelong skills for sustainable healing. If you are looking for a supportive environment to develop coping mechanisms for difficult situations.

Join our DBT group therapy sessions and learn practical skills to manage your emotions, cope with stress, and build healthier relationships. We offer DBT for both adults and adolescents.

To participate in DBT groups at CCBH, you need to be currently receiving outpatient therapy services. Empower yourself and contact us to get started!
